개인정보처리방침

(‘preter.me’ 이하 ‘프리터’)은(는) 「개인정보 보호법」 제30조에 따라 정보주체의 개인정보를 보호하고 이와 관련한 고충을 신속하고 원활하게 처리할 수 있도록 다음과 같이 개인정보 처리방침을 수립·공개합니다.

제1조 (개인정보의 처리 목적)

프리터는 다음의 목적을 위하여 개인정보를 처리합니다. 수집된 개인정보는 다음의 목적 이외의 용도로는 사용되지 않으며, 목적이 변경될 경우 「개인정보 보호법」 제18조에 따라 별도의 동의를 받겠습니다.

• 회원가입 및 관리: 가입의사 확인, 본인 식별·인증, 회원자격 유지·관리, 부정이용 방지 등
• 민원사무 처리: 민원사항 확인, 사실조사를 위한 연락 및 통지, 처리결과 통보 등
• 서비스 제공: AI 동시통역 서비스 제공, 미팅 요약 제공
• 마케팅 및 광고 활용: 신규 서비스 안내, 맞춤형 콘텐츠 제공, 이벤트 참여 기회 제공 등

제2조 (개인정보의 처리 및 보유 기간)

프리터는 법령에 따른 개인정보 보유기간 또는 이용자로부터 동의받은 기간 내에서 개인정보를 처리 및 보유합니다.

• 회원정보: 가입일로부터 서비스 종료 또는 탈퇴 시까지 보유 (단, 관계 법령에 따라 일정기간 보관할 수 있음)
• 접속 로그, IP 등: 3년 보관 (통신비밀보호법)

제3조 (개인정보의 제3자 제공)

프리터는 원칙적으로 이용자의 개인정보를 외부에 제공하지 않습니다. 다만, 아래의 경우는 예외로 합니다.

1. 이용자의 사전 동의를 받은 경우
2. 법령에 특별한 규정이 있는 경우
3. 수사기관의 요청이 있는 경우

제4조 (개인정보처리의 위탁)

프리터는 원활한 서비스 제공을 위하여 다음과 같이 개인정보 처리를 위탁하고 있습니다.

• Google Cloud Service (GCP): 클라우드 인프라 제공 및 데이터 보관
• Google Analytics: 서비스 이용 분석
• Toss Payments: 유료 서비스 결제 처리

제5조 (정보주체의 권리·의무 및 행사방법)

이용자는 언제든지 개인정보의 열람, 정정, 삭제, 처리정지를 요청할 수 있습니다. 이러한 권리는 서면, 이메일 등을 통해 행사하실 수 있으며 프리터는 지체 없이 조치하겠습니다.

제6조 (처리하는 개인정보 항목)

• 회원가입 시 수집: 이메일, 비밀번호, 닉네임, 전화번호
• 서비스 이용 시 수집: IP 주소, 쿠키, 접속 로그 등

제7조 (개인정보의 파기)

프리터는 개인정보의 보유기간이 경과하거나 처리 목적이 달성된 경우 지체 없이 해당 정보를 파기합니다. 전자적 정보는 복구 불가능한 기술적 방법으로 삭제합니다.

제8조 (개인정보의 안전성 확보 조치)

프리터는 개인정보의 안전성 확보를 위해 다음과 같은 조치를 취하고 있습니다.

• 개인정보 접근권한 최소화 및 정기 점검
• 중요정보 암호화 저장
• 침입차단 시스템을 통한 접근 통제
• 정기적인 보안 업데이트 및 점검

제9조 (개인정보 자동수집 장치의 설치·운영 및 거부)

프리터는 쿠키를 사용하여 맞춤형 서비스를 제공합니다. 이용자는 브라우저 설정을 통해 쿠키 저장을 거부할 수 있으나 일부 서비스 이용에 제한이 있을 수 있습니다.

Privacy Policy (English Translation)

Effective Date: June 1, 2026

Vaialabs (“Company”, “we”, “us”, or “our”) establishes and discloses this Privacy Policy in accordance with Article 30 of the Personal Information Protection Act of Korea to protect the personal information of data subjects (users) and to handle any related grievances quickly and smoothly regarding the preter service (‘preter.me’, hereinafter referred to as “preter”).

Article 1 (Purpose of Processing Personal Information)

The Company processes personal information for the following purposes. The processed personal information will not be used for any purposes other than those listed below. If the purpose of use changes, we will obtain separate consent in advance in accordance with Article 18 of the Personal Information Protection Act.

• User Registration and Management: Confirmation of intent to sign up, identification and authentication of users, maintenance and management of membership qualifications, prevention of fraudulent use of the service, etc.
• Handling of Civil Complaints: Verification of civil complaints, contact and notification for fact-finding, notification of processing results, etc.
• Provision of Services: Provision of AI simultaneous interpretation services, provision of meeting summaries.
• Marketing and Advertising: Information on new services, provision of customized content, provision of opportunities to participate in events, etc.

Article 2 (Processing and Retention Period of Personal Information)

The Company processes and retains personal information within the personal information retention period required by laws or agreed upon by the user at the time of collection.

• Membership Information: Retained from the date of subscription until service termination or withdrawal (provided that it may be stored for a certain period in accordance with relevant laws).
• Access logs, IP addresses, etc.: Retained for 3 years (Protection of Communications Secrets Act).

Article 3 (Provision of Personal Information to Third Parties)

In principle, the Company does not provide users’ personal information to third parties. However, the following cases are exceptions:

1. Where the user’s prior consent has been obtained.
2. Where there are special provisions in relevant laws.
3. Where there is a request from an investigative agency in accordance with legal procedures.

Article 4 (Outsourcing of Personal Information Processing)

For the smooth provision of services, the Company outsources the processing of personal information as follows:

• Google Cloud Service (GCP): Provision of cloud infrastructure and data storage.
• Google Analytics: Analysis of service usage statistics.
• Toss Payments: Processing payments for paid services.

Article 5 (Rights, Obligations of Data Subjects and Methods of Exercise)

Users may request access to, correction of, deletion of, or suspension of the processing of their personal information at any time. These rights can be exercised through written requests, email, etc., and the Company will take action without delay.

Article 6 (Items of Personal Information Processed)

The Company collects and processes the following items of personal information for service provision:

• Collected during user registration: Email address, password, nickname, phone number.
• Collected during service use: IP address, cookies, access logs, etc.

Article 7 (Destruction of Personal Information)

The Company promptly destroys personal information when it becomes unnecessary, such as the expiration of the retention period or achievement of the processing purpose. Personal information stored in electronic file form is deleted using irreversible technical methods.

Article 8 (Measures to Ensure the Security of Personal Information)

The Company takes the following technical, administrative, and physical measures to ensure the safety of personal information:

• Minimizing access authority to personal information and conducting regular inspections.
• Encrypted storage of critical personal information.
• Access control through intrusion prevention systems.
• Regular security updates and inspections.

Article 9 (Installation, Operation, and Rejection of Automatic Personal Information Collection Devices)

The Company uses ‘cookies’ to store and find users’ usage information to provide customized services. Users have the right to choose whether to install cookies. Therefore, users can allow all cookies, go through a check whenever a cookie is saved, or refuse to save all cookies by setting options in their web browser. However, if you refuse to install cookies, there may be difficulties in using some services.

Article 12 (Changes to the Privacy Policy)

This Privacy Policy shall take effect on June 1, 2026. Previous versions of the privacy policy will be archived and can be provided upon request.
